Who Cares
Who Cares
Angela Woodhouse, Caroline Broadhead
United Kingdom
Who Cares is an interdisciplinary video work, situated between dance and visual arts. It explores and applies the use of movement and thermal imaging in creating an innovative, multi-screen work which reflects on touch as a place of care, contamination, intimacy and trust. Revealing the potential for painterly abstraction through the video capture of heat trace combined with movement/dance, Who Cares connects the worlds of technology, biology and art.
Who Cares will be displayed as a special ongoing film installation at the ramp of the Laban Building during the London International Screen Dance festival on 16 & 17 October.
