London International Screen Dance Festival celebrates new independent short films from around the world.

A selection of LISDF programmed films will be shown at Brighton Screen Dance Festival the following year.

This dynamic biennial event is a celebration of the inventive and experimental integration of movement, choreography and the moving image on screen.

We welcome a diverse range of films from the international community including experimental films, the use of new or old technology, animation and any project that integrates movement with the screen.

Trinity Laban is London’s Creative Conservatoire: an internationally celebrated centre of excellence, offering world-class training in dance, music and musical theatre, transforming those with potential into resourceful, enterprising and adaptable artistic leaders. Trinity Laban also provides exciting opportunities for local people, whatever their age, to encounter dance and music, and to access arts health programmes.

Trinity Laban's landmark buildings are world-renowned, from the beautiful Wren-designed heritage site of King Charles Court in Greenwich to the RIBA Stirling Prize-winning state of the art building in Deptford. 

London International Screen Dance Festival takes place at Laban Theatre in Deptford, close to bars, restaurants and stylish places to socialise after the screenings.
